Private sector advised to implement remote work for 3 days (Tuesday, 3rd March 2026)

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has recommended that private sector companies shift to remote work where possible and avoid workers being present in open areas, except for vital roles that require physical attendance.

The advisory will be in place from Sunday, 1 March to Tuesday, 3 March. Decisions regarding work suspension remain under the authority of local governments, based on ongoing developments.
