About the Role
We are seeking a Teacher Assistant who is a fluent French speaker to support our early years classroom and communicate with pupils in French throughout the day, helping to build early bilingual exposure alongside our English-led curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Support the lead teacher in daily classroom activities and routines for FS1/FS2 pupils
• Communicate with pupils in French at all times during classroom interaction, to build natural language exposure and immersion
• Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
• Support pupils' social, emotional, and language development
• Help maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment
• Assist with observations, records, and basic reporting on pupil progress
• Work collaboratively with the class teacher and wider Al Fajr ECC team

Requirements

• Fluent French speaker (native or near-native level), spoken confidently and consistently
• Experience working with young children (EYFS/early years) preferred
• Patient, warm, and nurturing approach to early years education
• Good command of English for team communication
