Position: Accountant

Department: Finance & Accounts

Reports To: Management / Finance Manager

Location: UAE

Job Purpose

Responsible for managing daily accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring cash flow, and providing timely financial information to management.

Key Responsibilities

Record daily income, expenses, payments, receipts, and invoices.

Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.

Perform regular bank and petty cash reconciliations.

Follow up on outstanding customer and supplier payments.

Assist with monthly payroll, salary adjustments, deductions, advances, and loans.

Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash-flow reports, and financial summaries.

Monitor expenses and highlight discrepancies or unusual costs.

Maintain VAT records and assist with VAT calculations, filings, and reconciliations.

Maintain organized financial documents and supporting records for audits.

Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, HR, Sales, and Operations when required.

Support budgeting, cost analysis, and other financial planning activities.

Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.

Perform other accounting and finance duties assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.

Good knowledge of accounting principles, VAT, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software & CMA, ACCA

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Good communication, organizational, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
